Making the natural landscape of the Adirondacks available to everyone, especially people with disabilities, was the vision of International Paper’s retired Chairman and CEO, John Dillon

Upon his retirement International Paper designed and constructed John Dillon Park, in honor of his service and leadership, as a fully accessible facility in a wilderness setting.

The park will demonstrate how well-managed forests, manufacturing, recreation and forestry protection play a role in benefiting the Adirondacks.

International Paper partnered with Paul Smith’s College to manage the park and the State of New York through a recreation easement to bring this idea to reality.

We offer you the opportunity to open up your world of experience by joining us in experiencing the beauty of the Adirondacks.
